Superior Evolution Series 8.8 Axles
These days, you see Ford 8.8-inch axles under the rear bumpers of many non-Ford trucks-credit that to a durable design, available rear disc brakes, and low factory gearing. While pretty good in stock form, the 8.8 can be improved upon. Enter Superior Axle & Gear. Superior's Evolution Series axles are made from induction-hardened alloy and feature additional splines for maximum strength. Plus, the cold-formed rolled splines are 35 percent stronger than the OEM-style cut splines. New wheel studs, bearings, and seals round out the package.
